Taking to watercolour painting at the ripe old age of 60 was a surprising, yet wonderful outcome of my healing work - I needed to let go of crippling perfectionism and lack of self-confidence before I could embrace the tricky yet mesmerising process of painting watercolour - the flow of water across the paper, the application of beautiful pigments with soft, shapely brushes, is meditative, engrossing and addictive (in a good way). Painting  has become a major focus of my days, inspired by the beauty that surrounds us in nature.
